The International Battery Conference 2025 Pohang will be held in conjunction with the International Battery Expo Pohang 2025 from November 3rd (Mon) to 5th (Wed) in Pohang.

Under the theme ‘Beyond Batteries, Powering Tomorrow,’ this event will be a significant occasion for leading experts, companies, and research institutions in the domestic and international battery industry to gather. They will share the latest technologies and market trends and explore future directions for global cooperation.

On the first day, November 3rd (Mon), keynote speeches will be delivered at the POSTECH Gymnasium. In the afternoon, sessions will take place at the CHANGeUP GROUND, including a session on "Sustainable Futures-Circular Economy in Batteries" from Germany and a session on "Nordic Countries: Green Energy Transition"

On November 4th (Tue), the conference will move to the National Battery Circular Cluster for sessions on "Korea : Global Leadership in Battery Industry Innovation" and "Global Trends and Challenges in the Battery Industry." Notably, the final session, held in conjunction with the annual POBATT 2025, will cover a wide range of trends and key issues in the global battery industry.

After the event concludes, a site tour of the Resource Circulation Research Center will be available, offering a firsthand look at research facilities for performance evaluation, safety testing, and waste battery resource utilization.​
